22 December 2022 – Your Sal’s Shoes have been finding their new feet at a Christmas party held for the children living in Kotoen, a squatter settlement, in Mpumulanga, South Africa

9 December 2022 – Santa brought shoes. The children of Katoen, a squatter camp in Mpumalanga, South Africa, had a Christmas party yesterday and received Sal’s Shoes from Santa.

10 November 2022 – A couple of months ago we were delighted to receive a generous donation of running shoes from Run4It. Last weekend, a few of the pairs that were donated completed the Soweto Marathon in South Africa – on the feet of some of the staff and the older girls from Ilamula House – a home for vulnerable, abused and orphaned girls run by The Winnie Mabaso Foundation.

2 October 2022 – And whilst Claudia is gearing up for the London Marathon today in support of Sal’s Shoes, we’re chuffed to bits that a generous donation of running shoes by Run4It, means that Sal’s Shoes are now in training for the Soweto Marathon in South Africa later this month, on the feet of a member of staff and 2 of the oldest girls who live at Ilamula House, a home for vulnerable, abused and orphaned girls run by The Winnie Mabaso Foundation.

31 May 2022 – It’s a Sal’s Shoes in South Africa day with the The Winnie Mabaso Foundation, which was established to support vulnerable and orphaned children in South Africa, particularly those living with HIV. Sal’s Shoes are on their soles at Ilamula House, a home for vulnerable, abused and orphaned girls.

5 March 2022 – Sal’s school Shoes sorted to set off for school thanks to the The Winnie Mabaso Foundation who help support the people of Meriting Village, an informal settlement south of Johannesburg, South Africa. Meriting is home to a desperately poor community who live in shack accommodation. There is no power, limited sanitation and water is supplied from standpipes.
