21 January 2023 – “Swapping Sal’s Shoes for smiles this Saturday. We’ve been finding feet in a small town near Nykoliave in Ukraine. The town has been isolated from outside support and cut off from incoming aid due to ongoing conflict and severe road damage since last November. Fresh produce, hygiene essentials, first aid supplies and Sal’s Shoes have just been distributed thanks to THE SUNFLOWER PROJECT: Emergency Relief for Ukraine.

We’ve been distributing from a centre set up in a school building, providing essentials for internally displaced people fleeing violence and their homes in other areas of the country. A huge thank you to Wolverine Worldwide Cat Footwear Sperry and Country Kids Tights & Socks whose generous donations of footwear and socks were included in our consignment.”

It’s been a finding new feet Friday in Ukraine 🇺🇦 where your shoes have been finding their new owners amongst families who fled from the fighting in the eastern part of the country with little in the way of possessions 👣 Thanks to a donation from http://spreadsomesunshine.com we’ve been able to provide new coats 🧥 as well as your Sal’s Shoes 👟

February / March 2020, your Sal’s Shoes have started finding their feet amongst children fleeing the Russian invasion in Eastern Ukraine 🇺🇦Your Sal’s Shoes are already displayed store-like in this orphanage so that their new owners have the experience of, and the fun associated with, choosing their shoes for themselves 👣 . . . because we know from your donations, and the time and effort involved in sending us them in the condition that you do, that you’ve all got helping hands 🤝 and not hand me downs 🌎

January 2020, with the wintery weather ❄️ upon us, many of us take having warm feet for granted. Your Sal’s winter footwear found their new feet in Ukraine 🇺🇦 amongst internally displaced families who fled the war in Donbass with little in the way of personal possessions and settled in Kharkiv 👣
